July was BUSY! oh my!

Well.....I had some time today to post a few sessions that I had throughout July, but when I actually started sifting through the month I was overwhelmed by the amount that I had! So, this entry will be a mixture of everything...babies, newborns, families, seniors, engagements....all wrapped up into one:) enjoy!

My first family session of July, I had the privelage of meeting up with some friends and taking their photos. It was pretty windy; but the skies were incredible! Everyone held in there long enough to capture some great shots....here's only a few of my favourites:)

 Strawberry Tea anyone?? A dear friend works down at the Shores Retirement Home here in Kamloops and they were hosting a Strawberry Tea. It is an event for the residents to invite family to come enjoy a treat as well as the public to come in and see what the Shores is all about. They are a very, very special family there; and it would seem that they have alot of fun together too!

 The lovely lady in the hat below just melts my heart for some reason. She has alot of style and I would love to sit with her one day and hear about her life; I'm sure she has alot to tell:)

My next session in July was for a special lady celebrating her 60th birthday! What a great excuse for some family photos to be done. Here's a couple of my favorite picks from this session.....

 This little dolly did not want her picture taken.....she was tired and just wasn't into smiling for the camera. So I just let her do her thing and then came down to her level. I think these two are my most favourites of the day! She is such a doll:)

This little sweetheart is growing up so fast! Annnnnnnd she reeeeeally likes cheerios; definately in her 'happy place' sitting in a bowl full of o's :)

My next session was this absolutely super GORGEOUS newborn baby girl. Squishy, soft....smells so nice....mmmmmmm super precious. She slept so nicely for us, and it's always nice visiting with her beautiful mama too.

The next session was for two special little one year olds.....they are friends; so we did their shoot at the same time which was fun!

Miss. J melts my heart with those big brown eyes every. single. time.....

So then she tried putting the fuzzy chicks in her mouth.......

My next session in July was this lovely couple. I am shooting their wedding in September so we got together for their engagement session; it was extra special because they have two beautiful kids to share it with too!

 I loved hanging out with these guys and I can't WAIT to spend your wedding day with you too!

My last session of July was this handsome family below..... I'll be honest; I was a little nervous about the teenage boy part of this session cuz I heard they weren't too excited about the whole thing. BUT we had fun and they did great and were very patient with this crazy photographer! thanks guys!

 This handsome young man is quite the soccer star...so he was in his element with his ball:)

 And THIS other handsome fella was a little on the shy side but we managed to get a few smiles:)

 Mom is always behind the camera, so we had a chance to take a few photos of her on her own...isn't she pretty??

Well, there was July in a post.....And now we are well on our way into August. How is summer going by so quickly anyhow??!! Thank you to each and everyone of you who call me to take your photos...who refer me to your friends and support me by even looking at all these images all the time. Thank you so much!
